Parcel No. 5223 is an unprogrammed plot owned by the Fondation Versoix-Samuel May, frozen by conflicting interests. Nature reclaiming the land, construction crews using it for free storage, and local residents.
Strategy
Where screens capture visual attention, the sense of smell snaps people back into their physical surroundings. We turned our kitchen into a smell laboratory. Moving beyond visual site conditions, we use scents to reveal hidden layers of the land, bringing artists and neighbours together to interact directly with the space.
