About us

promeNOODology is a collective working where architecture, cooking and public space meet.

We came together through EASA — the European Architecture Students Assembly — and have spent the last five years staging collective food interventions across Europe: in Romania, the UK, Switzerland, Austria, Italy and Spain.

What interests us is how a city can be made shared again. Public space in Europe is turning generic and commercial; we look for simple, joyful ways to pull strangers back into it. Cooking is our medium — accessible, endlessly adaptable, and it ends in something everyone understands: a meal. Beneath the play is an idea we keep testing: that fun is an overlooked, non-market currency capable of bringing public space back to life.

Our method is deliberately un-fancy. We start with nothing but communication, build with what a place already has, and improvise our kitchens on site — salvaged materials, borrowed tools, donated solar stoves, rescued surplus food.

Above all, we want to show that anyone can do this. With simple means and a bit of nerve, unexpected things happen — and we hope others take it as an invitation to intervene in their own public spaces.
